Creating IDs

Is there any way to create Notes IDs from a VBScript?

We’re trying to automate our processes for adding new users to our systems, and the creation of the Notes ID is the main stumbling block at the moment.

Any ideas greatfully accepted.

I’m having a bit of trouble getting this to work from VBScript. Is there a problem using VBScript? Am I wasting my time trying to get it to work?

which trouble? Are there error msgs?

The docu says:

The New method is not supported in COM and CreateRegistration is supported only in COM.

I’m getting an error when trying to create the registration object.

The code is simply “session.CreateRegistration”, and the error is “Object doesn’t support this property or method”.

Any ideas?

this code is ok on my machine:

Set sess = CreateObject(“Lotus.NotesSession”)

Call sess.Initialize

Set reg = tmp.createRegistration
