I have just had to look at an existing application that has stopped working since r8 upgrade on servers. The agent uses the old trick of creating a mail directly in the mail.box so that it can spoof who the original sender was as this is required by workflow. The users who get the mails are both notes and non notes mail users.
Since we upgraded the agent still runs but no message is sent. The mail doesn’t show as dead mail but the agent doesn’t error. Are there new security settings in 8 to stop this working?
