I need to create a database where users upload files(MSword,excel,ppt etc). Its not a web db. can anyone pleas tell me how to upload doc’s in a db.Thanks

On your form include a rich text field, users can then use the icon on the Notes client toolbar to attach a document to that field. Alternatively they could use File > Attach instead of the icon; or you could create your own attach file button next to the field.
By the way, Notes comes with a document library template that you can use if you don’t want to create your own.

On your server go to FIle > Database > New, switch to your app server then choose the template called “Microsoft Office Library”. This db allows users to post office files. There’s alot of handy templates for you.
