Creating additional configuration settings documents

I have three Domino servers, Server A, server B and server C. Server A is a HUB server, server B and C are spokes.SMTP inbound- and outbound internet mail, is routed by server A (SMTP Listener enabled). Therefore I have one configuration document on server A. In this document only server A is specified in the Group or Server name Field.

Now I suppose I need also config documents for server B and C because I want to enable OOO Service. (all servers, all clients and all mailfiles are 8.5.1).

What are pitfalls when I create additional server config documents for servers B and C. How do I specify that only server A should route SMTP mail, so disble SMTP routing in the config documents for servers B and C?

In short : I want create config documents for servers B and C only to enable Out Of Office Service for that servers.

…just seen this and partly answered already!

You can have 1 config doc for all your servers, then anything that needs to be specified for just one of your servers can have its own config doc . If you specify something in an individual document this will take precedence over the general one. Hope this helps, Anne
