I am hopeful someone can help me with creating Ad-Hoc Queries against a Notes View or data set. Please let me know.

What, exactly, do you want to do? Notes is not relational, so the first thing to do is dump any leftover RDBMS concepts you’re carrying over the side of your canoe before they hurt you. “Ad hoc” and Notes don’t always get along so well – unless you plan your ad hockness.

Well you can’t really have a view be dynamic…
You could have a form w/a single category view…
and have the view change based on the Ad-Hoc queries…
You could also, basically build a report…
Where you have them fill in their criteria… And then create a new document that is populated w/the results.
You could use the new CreateTable method…
You could put doclinks to each of the documents…
So it could behave like a view…
That is the best idea I can come up w…
