Creating a display page form in the initial frameset

Users would like a form where they can update information. Kind of like a newsfeed when they open the database each morning for other users.

This form will be the main form users see when the open the database. I only want one person to update the fields on this form. I want other users to only have read access to this form. Although as they use the database for entering other data they will already have editor rights. I would just like to restrict this one form - is this possible ?

Depending on which client they were opening the document in you could probably wrap some code around the form in the QueryOpen (WebQueryOpen) and in the ModeChange events to ensure that only a person with a certain role could put the document into edit mode. I’m pretty sure that a savvy user would be able to get around this, but it would keep the casual user would not be able to get to the Edit.
