Creating a Calendar entry in another user's Calendar

Hi,

I was wondering if it’s possible for 1 user to create a Calendar entry in another user’s Calendar. I ask this because I’m using a dummy user to create the Calendar entry and then I’m emailing it to the target user (who then has to open the email and click Send or Save).

The problem is that if the target user deletes the email, then it’ll delete the Calendar entry.

I was wondering if there is a better way of doing this?

The other user could give you delegated access to manage his / her calendar
