Created new server, now cannot access through web

I had a development server (Dev01/old) that was in need of repair. We just created a new certifier, so I thought I would register a new development server, renaming it to Dev/new.

On the server itself, I moved the Dev01/old “data” directory to another drive on another server, I reinstalled the OS and all the necessary updates and software. I installed Domino 6.0.2 CF2.

I brought up the server, copied all the necessary databases and folders from the “data” directory I moved before the reinstallation. I did not overwrite any 6.0.2CF2 databases.

I used the same IP address, the same DNS entry for this server now called Dev/new. I updated the server document to mimic the Dev01/old server document.

Once this was done, I just removed (using AdminP) the Dev01/old server.

Now, when I attempt to access any database through a browser it continually gives me the “Invalid username or password” error.

I even added my name into the ACL with Manager access. I changed my Internet Password too. No luck.

The Directory is the same, the person documents are the same, the groups are the same, the ACLs have not been changed, the server document is the same, and I can access any database through the client.

What did I miss?

Thanks!

Dan

Subject: SOLUTION: Created new server, now cannot access through web

On the Server Document, on the “Security” tab, under the section called “Internet Access,” it was set to “Fewer name variations wiht higher security.” I reset to “More name variations with lower security” and it works perfectly.

Thanks!
