Subject: Created a new id and during installation it says the password is expired. Is anyone else having this problem?
Subject: I have the same problem 8.5.1 FP5
Did you solve it?
Subject: yes
It says it’s fixed in FP1, although I haven’t tested it yet so don’t know if that’s actually true
Subject: Yes…
I was also told this was corrected in the FP1…I actually opened a PMR with IBM and was told this was a known issue when you have a policy applied in your user registration. To get around that problem I removed the policy in the registration pop up when you’re creating a user. Get the client installed for them and logged in and then apply the policy via the adminp process. Annoying, but a work around. I’ll also say I have not yet tested this with the FP1.
Subject: Workaround
We’ve updated to FP1 and still see this error. Our current workaround is to reset the user’s password via ID Vault right after the new user has been registered.
annoying problem but this is the fastest workaround in my opinion
