Create New Tabs?

Folks,

I’m new to Notes and would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction to get the following done.

I’d like to create another tab, next to the Email, To Do, and Calendar tabs across the top, that shows only emails that match a specific filter/rule, etc…,

That is, next to the Email, Calendar tabs would be additional Tabs labelled CustomerXYZ, CustomerMNO, etc… Clicking on a tab would show all the content that matched some criteria such as a filter or rule, e.g. “From contains CustomerXYZ”, “Body Contains CustomerXYZ”, etc… The main concept is to be able to move among projects/customers by electing which Tab to work from and only having to deal with content that had to do with that customer/project and nothing else.

My initial idea was to try to make a tab that showed a specific folder, that didn’t work. Then I tried using All Documents view with a filter that excluded all but what I wanted, and keep setting these as Tabs but I haven’t found a way to make that work either.

As it is, I can navigate to folders that I have rules set up to filter traffic to, or crawl through my Inbox or All Documents view to work with each customer, but, aside from the folder view, everything is mashed up and I’m wasting time navigating, and resetting my internal perspective to focus, customer to customer, through the noise and through each iteration as I reiterate through each projects’ tasks/subtasks, and sorting through what can be done and what is to be done, for each.

With a Tab at the top I could quickly move from one project to the next and keep everything in one view at a time, essentially set a Focus, that cuts the noise and helps eliminate the worry of missing a reference that means going back to rework something.

Thanks,

KWL
