Create Link Hotspot

Hi I have a user that would like to add a button to their client that would allow them select text…then click this button…which would select the text and then create a hotspot URL link…Is that possible? They want to do a shortcut rather than the usual CREATE - HOTSPOT - LINK …method.

I didn’t see any @command you could place in the smart icon to do it. Sorry.
