Create calendar icon on workspace

Hi. How do you make a calendar icon on the workspace? I was able to make a copy of my local inbox icon (not sure now how I did, can’t now reproduce; I did not create a new copy of the email.db) From the new inbox icon I set “open in notes client” to “CalendarFS” and this worked. The problem with this though is that the icon is still the inbox and not the Calendar icon. I’m sure I’ve seen folks over the years using Notes 4.x-8.x with a Calendar icon on their workspace, how is this done?

Thanks

Subject: bookmarks on left

In R8, you have bookmarks on the left. You can bookmark mail and calendar individually. (Both should be there defaultly from install.) You could also use a welcome page instead of the workspace. You’ll find instructions for both of these in the User Help.

Workspace icons are for databases. Databases (not the icons, but the dbs) can be set (as you learned) to open to a default view. But since mail and calendar are both in the maildb, you can’t set it up to open to two different places.

Correct, thanks for the info and reply, all those places can have the calendar. I thought I was sure I saw a calendar icon on the workspace in days gone by, maybe not. I understand that the calendar is a different design frameset of the email db. As I have actually gotten one to work, it’s only 1/2 way and one would think you could make an icon with the calendar frameset. If it can’t be done it can’t be done, I appreciate your reply.
