Create a shared address book with mail addressing

Hey.

I’m trying to make a shared address book but isn’t succeed yet. I’m a beginner in Lotus - so a simple guide would be perfect.

My requirements for the address book are:

  • The main address book should be on the server.

  • It needs to appear when I open up a new e-mail and go to address on the “To” field (Just like my personal address book).

  • All users should have the rights to create new contacts.

  • The contacts does only need to have a few informations like company, name, e-mail, fax and phone.

I tried to find a template on openNFT, but it is not working.

I have also tried to make a personal address book on the server, but it will not appear in the “To” field in a new e-mail.

I would appreciate all help :slight_smile:

Subject: need to use Directory Assistance

We had this set up a dozen years ago by the consultant who installed the first Domino server in our company. I can confirm this can be done even if I am not able to help you step by step.

I suggest you to search the domino 6/7 forum where you can find post like this

I’m still not able to create one. It a huge problem for me, and I hope someone could come with a detailed guide or maybe a few more tricks?

Thanks for your advice. I tried to search though some of the other forums but I didn’t find any further help or information!
