Crash when changing password through Password Expiration Notification dialog box

We are testing a Security Policy to enable Password checking/expiration. A notification (Dialog box) is displayed when a user’s password is nearing the expiration date. On the notifications it says “Do you want to change your password now?” and has a Yes and No button. For our users on Notes 8.0.1, when they click “Yes” to change thier password, the Client hangs and eventually crashes. This occurs with every Notes 8.0.1 user, everytime.

Is this a known bug? If so, is there a way to fix this or is it fixed in 8.0.2?

I have not been able to find any NSD info locally, but quite frankly I’m not sure where to look. I’m open to any suggestions. Also,I could perhaps re-apply the policy and re-create the error and capture it that way. All guidance and help are appreciated.

Thanks for the Help.

The only relevant file I found indicates that “NSD has been cancelled by user”. However, today I installed the 8.0.2 client and re-applyed the security policy to expire my password. Hopefully, the problem does not re-occur with 8.0.2 but if it does I will not cancel the NSD and post it here.

I have installed the Lotus Notes client release 8.0.2. I have initiated a password expiration twice, triggered the password reset through the dialog box and it was successful causing no crash or error. Therefore, the problem seems to be resolved in release 8.0.2.
