Crash error meaning?

My laptop crashed during a replicate with my server and now whenever my laptop tries to replicate the server crashes with this error:

Fortunately, the automatic recover restarts the server.

I can open both my local replica of my mail database file and the copy on the server from my laptop Notes without error. I have run fixup, compact, and updall. I have re-booted the server. I re-booted my laptop. How do I figure out what is causing this error? Or at least which mail file to replace with the other…
