CPU Utilization Column Does Not Display

The Domino Administrator Client does not display the “CPU Utilization” column information under the “Server” tab → “Status” tab → “Server Tasks” item. The column header is displayed correctly by default. However there is no associated CPU data with the listed Tasks. The CPU column functioned properly in 7.0.2, is there is a way to get this feature up and running again?

Your suggestions and feedback is greatly appreciated.

Subject: Try this

Try manually merging notesreg.bat as described in the following Technote:

Subject: Any solution for 0% utilization for all processes?

I had a simliar issue on a W2K3 Domino 8.0.1 server. The registry tweak from the Technote changed the blank processor utilization column to all 0% entries, but I can’t get beyond that. (Yes, the tasks do actually use some CPU cycles in Task Manager.)

Subject: SPR JEDS7FFJMR

This looks like SPR JEDS7FFJMR. Do you see the correct values in webadmin.nsf or when running “show stat platform”?

Subject: Thanks, but still unavailable

Using the webadmin.nsf interface does not show the CPU either. Using “show stat platform” does not return any values. It does return:“PLATFORM not shown on server statistics table.”

However “show stat” returns a wealth of information on the server. However all I am interested in at this point is the CPU utilization.

This might very well be related to “WEBB7HGPSJ”, is there an ETA on the resolution?

Subject: Did you run notesreg.bat?

Did you merge the registry settings as discussed in the earlier post in the thread?

Subject: Looks like it is SPR JEDS7FFJMR

Chad,

Thanks for your help in identifying the SPR.

The command “show stat platform” does seem to show process utilization (see end of this posting).

Webadmin.nsf is getting stuck trying to run the preferences agent to open the UI: Loading /webadmin.nsf/agReadPreferences$UserL2… I’ll need to look at that separately.

It’s a pity the technote for SPR JEDS7FFJMR doesn’t mention whether a fix is being developed. http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21306888

Thanks,
