Hi,We will avoid people sending mail to more then 30 people a time. But, of course, 5 people are allowed to send mail to unlimited peoples. How can we do this ? Can we use a general mailrule for that and how to define the exeptions ? Are mailrules reliable ?
Any other tricks ?

Mail Rules are for incoming messages I believe. I doubt they do anything on outgoing messages.
I’m not an admin so I don’t know if there’s an eay way to do this or not. You could certainly modify the mail template and add code to impose your restrictions. Then keep the 5 people on the original template… But messing with the mail template can get dicey if you don’t know what you’re doing. Also you need to determine how effective this could even be.
for example, say someone adds a group with more then 30 names in their local address book and then tries to mail the group… you’re code would have to check for that to be effective.
If you’re worried about people abusing the mail you might be better off leaving it as is and auditing after the fact with mail tracking. I THINK you can produce some reports…
