Running MS Office 2007.
This simple code returns an error 'Could Not Embed Object"
Dim session As New NotesSession
Dim db As NotesDatabase
Dim doc As NotesDocument
Dim rtitem As NotesRichTextItem
Dim object As NotesEmbeddedObject
Set db = session.CurrentDatabase
Set doc = New NotesDocument( db )
Set rtitem = New NotesRichTextItem( doc, “Body” )
Set object = rtitem.EmbedObject _
( EMBED_OBJECT, “”, “c:\TESTING.doc”)
doc.Form = “Main Topic”
Call doc.Save( True, True )
If I try to manually embed a word or excel file into a rich text field, I get:
“an error has occured while processing a request on an object”
Is this an R7 thing? Or something buggy with my PC?
This all works fine on another PC running MS Office 2003 and 6.5.4
