I have successfully created a corporate welcome page and applied it to a desktop settings policy. The modified welcome page show up correctly in the Default Welcome page field on the Desktop settings policy doc. I also have the check-mark on “Do not allow users to change Welcome page”
The users that I explicitly assign the policy to, receives the custom Welcome page in their “Current Welcome Page:” drop down list, but the settings for making it the default welcome page and not allowing the user to change the welcome page is not being applied. It’s weird that the custom page would go to the user, but the other settings will not apply, which tell me the policy is being applied. I have tried setting up the user with a new personal address book, verified all bookmark files and local address book has the R6 design, deleted cache file and restarted client multiple times. My testing has spanned three different users on different machines with the same results.
Any help will be much appreciated.
