I need to know (for a “requirements” chapter in a documentation) when the client-side support of .embedObject was officially supported in java/CORBA
I know that in R5.013a, the .embedObject method still refers to a server-side attachment in CORBA, while in 7.01 the attachment correctly refers to a file on the client file system.
I’ve been looking in numerous release notes, fix lists, spent quite some time in that simple search, but could find nothing.
I guess the CORBA/Java API was corrected in R6 but I can’t test it and have no other source than one vague comment in one forum.
So, could anyone help me with this? Point me to the source of info where I could finally find the official statement on that subject?
