copyToDatabase and Reply form

I am having a really strange problem with LS. I am using copyToDatabase to copy selected documents from my Inbox to another database. The destination database has only one view without any selection formula - I want to see everything.All messages are copied fine… except the replies! In fact, they are copied (the number of documents in the database is increased, I can see them with NotesPeek), however, I cannot see them in the view. Fixup, updall, new destination database, compact, creating a new view, nothing helps.

Simple copy-paste works fine - I can see the documents.

Any ideas anyone?

I love answering my own questions!:)Apparently if you have a response doc without a parent in the database - the response will not show in any views! I was able to solve my problem by removing $REF from the copied doc. The side effect is that I have found a way to hide documents.

Lotus, is this by design or it is a bug?
