Does anyone know how to copy an embedded object from one document to another using Lotusscript?
Subject: Copying embeded objects
You can do this with the following two ways -
- Use AppendRTItem method of notesRichTextItem class to copy entire rich text data to another rich text in any document. Note that this will copy all the data along with embedded objects.
So, if you have only embedded objects you can use this to copy all of them at once.
- Extract the embedded objects to local file system and then attach them back to the rich text item of another document. Use NotesEmbedObject class for this. Look out for Extract method.

I was doing number 1, and it wasn’t working. Then, voila, it began working. Mysterious.
