Copy to clipboard & UpperCase

HiMy problem:

Whave an application which only works with uppercase letters(!), and we need to copy text from Notes to this application. Today, users in my organization have to go through MS Word in order to convert to uppercase

My mission:

Create an agent which copies the selected text in a document and stores the text in UPPERCASE on clipboard.

When the user then paste the text, it should automatically be pasted in uppercase letters.

Anyone know how to do this? Is it possible to combine ‘@UpperCase’ & ‘@Command([EditCopy])’?

Is LS the best way here?

Need to know… are you copying just Text or RichText?

@uppercase needs a string passed to it, ie @Uppercase( “henrik” ) so you wouldn’t be able to pass in the contents of the clipboard

NotesItem.Text returns the text content of a rich text item as a string value (though if an item’s value is very large, the returned string may be truncated)

Sounds like LotusScript is the best (only?) option. These functions may help, but they’re obviously only for Win32.
