Copy & Paste Documents brings up Search

Hello everyone, hope everyone is set to have a Happy New Year!

Here’s what I’ve got going on. I have a certain DB, it appears that it’s not allowing people to copy a document. I say this because when I go to paste that document in another DB it brings up the Search dialog. If I copy a document from another DB I’m able to paste it with no issues. No errors are displayed.

I checked the form’s properties and the “Disable printing/forwarding/copying to clipboard” property is Unchecked. I didn’t see that sort of property for subforms. Is there another place I can look for this? Any ideas?

That may be one of those properties that only changes with a document save. Can you copy after you save and close the doc with that property off?

Yes. The document was already saved and visible in the view. That’s where I was trying to copy from, either highlight or selecting the document by putting check mark next to it has the same results when trying to paste, I only get the search box.

Sounds like it could be due to the “replicate or copy documents” permission in the ACL. See this post in my blog for info on a non-obvious implication of that setting:
