Can someone help me figure out or convert 3.21.1? I assume this is the result of having 3 categorized sections?

I would like to convert it to either a whole number or decimal. As it stand, whenever I try to compute it, the value return @ERROR. Just needed it to be some numerical value.

I’m human and I don’t know what whole number that would be.
Where do you see the number? How are you trying to use it?

That’s (presumably) the default # IN VIEW value, stating that this document is in the 3rd main category, the 21st sub category, and the 1st document in that group.
This is one of the “Special Numbers” that views have. They are special because they are computed “on the fly” as the view is being displayed. The number you see may be different than the number I see if we see different documents due to Reader fields.
As they are computed as the view is being built, they simply don’t exist when the column values are being computed, which is why they are “special”.
So you cannot use these sort of values in your column formulas.
