The company I work for recently acquired a smaller company that is using ACT! 2000 for all their calendaring and contacts needs. I’ve been tasked with converting their old ACT! databases to simple Notes calendars and address books.
The problem is that they want to retain all their old historical data, so simply making new databases and telling them, “Ok, use these now…all your old data is gone” won’t work.
So my question is this: are there any tools/applications out there that are capable of migrating the old ACT! data into Notes data?
(Right now, I’m running Notes/Domino 7.0.2 with plans to migrate to 8.0.1 as soon as it comes out.)
Thank you for that. I peeked at that earlier but with the ultimate goal of getting everyone off of ACT altogether to avoid licensing and support issues, I was hoping to avoid it.
I guess I could download the free trial and see if there are any features that would allow me to import the old data into AFN, then export it again into a generic group calendar.
