Looking to understand the expected behaviour of the Notes 8.5 client following upgrade to roaming status. Is my understanding correct in that:
a user will receive the ‘convert to roaming’ message (assuming it is selected during the upgrade process )on the first Notes client they access. If it is accepted the client is converted to roaming though the user wil not receive this message again even on clients that they previously accessed before converting to roaming?
If this is correct, how is it possible to apply a consistent roaming status to all clients a user has accessed?
Have considered applying the ini parameter RoamingUpgrade=2 by policy to generate the prompt however this would mean that a user would be prompted each time they accessed any Notes client. Thanks in advance for any advice.
