Conversation icon shown in slow mail files (with Individual Messages)

I have a couple of Clients where Users report a slowdown. I still haven’t found the reason, but one thing that they both have in common is that their mail files are showing the “Conversation” icon even when they are set to show “Individual Messages”. If you click on the icon, it shows the Conversation message, so basically it’s showing the conversation history even when in “Show” we’ve selected Individual Messages.

Any way to take the Conversation setting out? I think this might be a reason for the slowdown, but I’ll keep looking. Any help greatly appreciated.

Subject: Clarification of functionality

Just to close this conversation, I contacted IBM support and they clarified that twisties for conversations might show in the Individual Messages view.

I was initially thinking this wasn’t working as designed but it was. It’s just that the Conversations history actually moves responses to a thread, while the Individual Messages just shows multiple entries (and a twistie if they are responses to that email).

So this was working as designed.
