Control opening document in read or edit mode via web

Hi ,

I would like to control the open mode of the document , if it’s opened in edit mode by any user document open in read mode , else in edit mode

Is it possible to do that for web ?

another question can I know if the document is edited by other user ?

note : server rel 5 ; client rel 6
