Subject: names.nsf / roaming
I notice you posted this as being for the notes client. By default, the user’s contacts (when using the client) are in a local file called names.nsf. Because this is stored on the local PC, another user wouldn’t be able to access it. I think for what you are wanting to do, you would need to set the first user up as a roaming user and get their contacts up onto the server, so that the second person could access them.
Subject: The contacts are on the server.
The contacts are on the server.
I believe it is a problem of vision, because when you change the attributes of the ACL appears contacts.
But the attribute has to stay;
no access.
Thank you.
Subject: access to them
It sounds like you’ve got a catch-22, if you need to give them access to the contacts without giving them access to the contacts.
If you absolutely cannot change the ACL of the contacts, then you might need to find another solution to provide them a list of contacts.
