Contact name order in dwa

hi.

is it possible to sort contacts list by firstname lastname in domino web access?

i know where the setting is in the notes client, but can’t find where this is done through the web access.

I’m not sure, but it’s the same place for notes client and DWA.

Hi,

There is a view in the DD called ($PeopleGroupsFlat).

Change it to show firstname lastname and voila!

yes i know. i already changed the three necessary views (People, ($PeopleGroupsFlat) and ($PeopleGroupsHier)).everything works like it should with the notes client, contact names are displayed as “firstname lastname”.

but in the web browser, they show as “lastname, firstname”.

Hi,

I will check in my custommer office next week and let you know.

Just don’t change PEople & $PEopleGroupsFlat views. You need only one being changed. The other views can be used by other agents, so they will stop working!!!

found it. i had to change two views in the mail template, (iNotesContacts) and ($PeopleGroupsFlat).
