Contact List/Address Book Question

Hello everyone, sorry If this has already been asked.

So I use Lotus Notes to send a new email by clicking “New Memo”, then I click on the “Address…” button to get my list of contacts. In the find names field, the default order is that the last name is being searched instead of the first name. Is there a way to change it so that the first name is being searched instead?

Note: I tried to change the order of the first/last names in my Address Book preferences but that didn’t help.

Thanks.

Your address lookup works with the $PeopleGroupsFlat view.

Open in designer, find that view, and change the second column display from:

DisplayPersonName := @Trim(@If(Type = “Person”; @Implode(@Trim(@Subset(LastName; 1) : @Subset(FirstName; 1)); " , ")+ " " + MiddleInitial; “”):AltFullName);

DisplayName := @If(Type = “Group”; @Subset(ListName; 1); Type=“Server”;ServerName;@If(DisplayPersonName = “”; @Subset(FullName; 1); DisplayPersonName));

@Name([Abbreviate]; DisplayName)

to

DisplayPersonName := @Trim(@If(Type = “Person”; @Implode(@Trim(@Subset(FirstName; 1) : @Subset(LastName; 1)); " , ")+ " " + MiddleInitial; “”):AltFullName);

DisplayName := @If(Type = “Group”; @Subset(ListName; 1); Type=“Server”;ServerName;@If(DisplayPersonName = “”; @Subset(FullName; 1); DisplayPersonName));

@Name([Abbreviate]; DisplayName)

And voila!
