In our environment we use both Lotus Notes 7 and Exchange 2003. The Exchange server is the feed for the Notes server. An Exchange Connector is used.
Most users use Exchange 2003. I have about 12 users using Notes.
When I normally create a new user within the Notes Admin a ‘Contact’ gets created in Active Directory with a ‘Notes UID’.
Recently this doesn’t happen. The Notes user gets created in the Notes Directory without a problem. But without the ‘Contact’ in AD email isn’t relayed through Exchange to Notes.
Two months ago we had a problem with our Group Policy and GPO got refreshed with a Microsoft fix. Exchange had a problem authenticating and wouldn’t login after the refresh. That problem got resolved with another MS fix.
My concern is if some trust between the Notes Server and Exchange/AD also got refreshed when the GPO got refreshed.
Had anyone ran into this before? Any insight would be great.
