Consuming web services in 8.5 over https

I’m experiencing a problem when trying to connect to a webservice on the internet using https. This is the error message I get:

“Web Service xx method yy error Error while negotiating with proxy server (HTTP Code 407, Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied. ))”

The company proxy seems to interfere, although proxy settings are filled out in the Notes client location document. Over http this works well.

The network admin says that he actually sees a 443 error, meaning this can have to do with ssl over proxy. Any ideas what is wrong and how to solve this? Did I overlook something?

Thank you for your feedback. I figured out what the issue was: if you want to use https and the company proxy needs authentication, you get the error. Our network admins managed to exclude the domains we need for https, so that these don’t need authentication. After that, we could cross certify and go on with our lives.
