We’ve run into a problem…console security.
We were pretty much forced into upgrading to Domino 6 (we are running 6.5.1 on Intel) to install a necessary upgrade to our content scanning software. We have a few of the important servers now on R6 and it is causing a number of unexpected security problems.
The most annoying one at the moment is Console Security. No-one is admitting to turning it on and so no-one knows the password. As others have noted, there is an entry in notes.ini which would tell me if I could read through the encryption but is there any other way to disable it - or a backdoor password to do so?
