Connecting to SharePoint RSS Feeds

HiWe have a Sharepoint server which has RSS Feeds,

From IE, we can connect to the feeds without any issues

From LN 8.5, it wants us to add the username and password.

We tried to add the new login in the list and use it. Will not work The login window keeps on coming back.

We tried the AD Uname and password

we tried the LN uname and password (just for fun)

Still nothing.

The Sharepoint takes it’s info from AD.

Anyone has come across that one?

ps: Sometimes trying to add that feed takes about 20 minutes to come back with a login window.

Subject: Look at Integrated Windows Authentication

I imagine that your IE users can authenticate directly to Sharepoint because of Integrated Windows Authentication. (See Integrated Windows Authentication - Wikipedia )

That doesn’t explain why you can’t authenticate Notes users for RSS feeds using the AD username and password, but it might be a start.
