Connect to Domino from Tomcat server

Hi All

I am writing a servlet running on Tomcat to connect to Domino Server on same server. I am using servlet in Domino because there is a third API which does not work in that environment.

Want to connect to Domino from Tomcat but can’t seem to Notes database through using Notes’s Session.getDatabase.

Any hints.

There is DIIOP response on domino server on server console:

DIIOP Server: x.x.x.x connected

DIIOP Server: x.x.x.x disconnected

Just trying to do

Session ss = NotesFactory.createSession(host1,name,pwd);

where host1 is hostname and it is fine… have checked with telnet to port 63148

name - have tried the full name of the user who has access to domino server and tried the short name.

as for pwd - have only tried the internet password of the user in the person document of that user.

there are no errors on tomcat nor domino…

any suggestions? anyone?

why are you using DIIOP when you are on the same server ? You might as well use the local classes.
