Conflict in a Mail Box Folder

Dear All,

I am facing a strange problem.One of our user when tries to move document from INBOX to any other folder created in his mail database it becomes conflict document as useual with a diamond icon against the mail.

It happens all the time when we move the mail from inbox to few folders.

Could we have more information please Mithun. Firstly versions of client and server, which mail template name. What view or folder template are the user’s folders based on? Has their design been modified? What is the mailbox’s version history (did it begin as R4 or R5, then get updated …?) What access and options does the user have to the database?

Secondly what remedial action have you taken so far ? Have you run fixup, replaced structure, …?

Does this only happen to the user in their mailbox or have you seen this in other databases? What happens if the user accesses another mailbox through delegation? Similarly, if the user allows you Editor access to the mailbox, do you obtain the same problem?

I’m not sure I understand your last sentence. Does this problem happen when moving mails from Inbox to any folder or only to certain folders? And what happens if you move the mail back?

Thanks John,

I think you have touched so many points which was coming in my mind also.Yes we have just upgraded our server from 7.0 to 8.0.May be this is hurting somewhere.

I have rebuild the database.I am trying other stuffs you have mentioned.
