We’ve just upgraded from Notes 6.5.4 to 8.0.2. Earlier in version 6x you could configure the notes.ini file, which was put in C:\Program files…, to use the id-file from a specific location.
The good thing about it was to enter the network drive letter for peoples home folder, which in our case was N:, and point to the folder lotus\notes. The complete path would then be N:\lotus\notes. In that folder we put the id-file so whoever logged on a desktop computer Notes would recognize the person’s id-file.
In Notes 8x I couldn’t find any shared notes.ini file but rather in each profile’s local settings folder. Anyone know how I can create the same function I had with Notes 6.5.4?
