I presently have 2 Servers and 2 Configuration Documents.I have the LDAP task turned on for Server Number 1. I would like to turn on the LDAP tabs on the configuration document but it looks to me like I must make the configuration document into the default document. Server 2 has a slightly different configuration and I don’t want the default document to over right any of the setting on the Server 2. Can I turn on the LDAP settings on Server 1 with out causing any changes to the Config Doc for Server 2?
Create a new configuration document for ‘* - [All Servers]’. This will expose the LDAP tab. Your existing configurations for Server 1 and Server 2 will be unaffected, and any settings in them will overrule the All Servers configuration.
From the Notes Admin help:
“Each server checks the Configuration Settings documents in the following order – a document specific to the server, then a group document for any group the server is in, and then for the default document…”
