We are using SMS and a Tranform file to upgrade our clients from R4.6.3 to R6.5.
I created a file (SkipIM.txt) which contains the lines:
IM.Server=server
IM.Port=80
IM.Connectwhen=2
IMProtocol=1
I configured the transform file to add the SkipIM.txt file to the user’s hard drive at the root of C:, which it does.
I also set the transform file to add a line to the notes.ini file (ConfigFile=C:\SkipIM.txt). The line is added to the notes.ini file, but when Notes is started we are still prompted to configure Sametime.
If I’m reading the other technotes properly, shouldn’t this just add the four lines in the SkipIM.txt to the notes.ini file?

Subject: Dont see it
I dont see the solution on that page… we are having the same issue… we are not copying the file to the user’s workstation, just leaving it on a public drive… the ConfigFile variable is getting in the notes.ini file ok, but we are still prompted and the server field is BLANK in the dialog box for IM Server setup
