Conditional Error Handling

Hi All

I am currently trying to automate a task which used to be triggerred from notes client ( manually clicking some button ).

To make my life easier i want to handle errors and give necessary error numbers , line numbers etc using On Error statements in the existing code.

However i want the error handling to come into picture only if the code is running on the server ( I can use session.IsOnServer ). Can someone please suggest a beautiful solution…

Seems to me like you already know what you need to do:

either wrap your on error statement in an if:

if session.isonserver then

on error goto ServerErrorHandler

else

on error goto ClientErrorHandler

end if

or in the error handler, wrap your logic in that same if statement.
