Hi,

I have a computed field that gets currency values from a config database. The problem is that the value in the field gets updated when currency changes. I want to save the first value that is fetched. Computed when composed does not seem to be an option because it just gives me 0 (because the field is populated first after the user has choosed wich currency)

The question: How can I save the first value gathered by the lookup and ignore the updates?

I would set the field that contains the value to a computed field equal to itself. To set the value of the field, you should put your lookup code in the OnChange event of the field in which the currency is chosen and put the lookup value of the currency in the value field if it’s empty.
