I believe this is a problem in earlier version but I think it’s possibly still a problem or there is a new one!
I’m using R7.0.2 and have a rich text field (on doc A) that does a lookup to a rich text field (on doc B, in the same DB) and displays it for the user to access. The RTF on doc A will contain a document, view, database or URL link.
URL Links work okay, however when I put a link to a document, view or database (regardless of location) the result displayed on doc A is a database link which links to the default view in the current database.
If I create an link hotspot with the document in memory, the resulting link opens the local address book! Weird.
Action hotspots with formula also work fine e.g FileCloseWindow.
Had a search about here and also in technotes and couldn’t find anything for R7.0.2 - any ideas, or is it time to log a PMR?
