I use the Day-At-A-Glance sidebar widget to monitor my tasks for the day. When I double click on a task and then click “Mark Complete” it marks the task complete but then opens the task in a new window that looks more like the basic version or Notes 7. I can’t close this window without shutting completely out of Notes. I am using 8.0.1 Standard on Vista but I have reproduced this with another user using 8.0.1 on XP.
Can anyone else reproduce this problem?

I am running Notes 8.0.2 on XP, and can reproduce the problem.It is apparently updating the task as complete, but then opens the Basic client in addition to the Standard client.
The Basic client (for me) had the same tabs open that were opened in the Standard client, and closing each tab closed it for both clients. At least until the last tab. That last tab in the Basic client showed a title of Workspace but the screen was showing the task.
A peer of mine tried to recreate the issue (same version and OS) but it worked for him. The difference we noticed was just in the age of the task - mine was a few days old and his was brand new for the test.
I want to try to replicate again, both with the Day-At-A-Glance in list mode and in hourly display mode. Will provide feedback here.
Not sure if there is an SPR for this issue or not. Anyone else know?
