Compacting Databases

This peculiar problem occurs when a user attempts to compact his database, the message on the server is “error compacting (databasename): document has been deleted.” I ran fixup and updall -r on this mail database and they ran successfully. Afterward I retried compact and still received the error.

I appreciate any help on this one too.

Same here - I tried updall, fixup, and various methods of compacting yet still get the error:

Error compacting mail/lmcdonal.nsf: Document has been deleted

I’m getting same error when trying to compact. I have also tried to run fixup and I still get the error. Has there been any resolution to this yet???

I’m getting the same error also. Did you ever find a solution?

I also see this error - And in addition, the database does not replicate all changes - despite clearing the history, and ensuring the replication settings field “only replicate incoming documents saved or modified after…” is blank. Manually replicating produces no errors, yet the number of documents in the replicas differ by hundreds. The only solution I have is to delete the replica and recreate from the clustered server.

Subject: Use “lo compact -c -i database” EOM

Subject: Thanks for the suggestion, it helped!

Subject: Use this command for solution

after this command i was able compacting db without errormessage
