Since upgrading to 7.0.2 from 6.5.3FP1 we now have an issue when users try to compact their own mail databases using the compact button. Before the upgrade, a user could click Compact button and the server would initiate a compact fairly quickly. Now that the server is on 7.0.2, clicking the compact button doesn’t seem to work. However, sometimes it does work but even then it takes hours before it even starts the compact. Also, from the admin client I have the same problem if I right click on a user’s database and click compact. If I load the compact command from the console, it compacts immediately. Any ideas on this one?
