Lo primero que hice fue buscar el archivos por todos lados y por ultimo recupere con OnTrack todos los archivos eliminados (Esto en caso se haya eliminado manualmente desde el Windows) y el archivo no se encuentra por ninguna parte. Lo interesante es que en todas maquinas desde donde tambien abrian el archivo accediendo a mi equipo tenían el link en su WorkSpace y uno de ellos no tenía el acceso. Por lo que sospecho que eliminaron haciendo clic+derecho sobre el acceso → Data Base → Eliminar al tratar seguramente de eliminar solo el icono. Please do not use this forum with other languages than English. I can understand that you cannot express yourself too well in English, when that is not your native langauge, but this is still an English forum!

It does not offend me at all. I am able to read/write in English, Dutch, French, German and Italian, so I am not afraid of other languages.
But I find it difficult to access a forum where I am not able to understand all posts. It would be fine with me when there is a need for localized forums. So that people can follow these forums as they like.

Maybe my turn of phrase was incorrect then, but we have a difference of opinion here
Why would posts in a language you can’t understand cause you difficulty? Just don’t read them. There are plenty of other people that can understand them and potentially answer them.
Maybe people should be encouraged to post in English as well, or if the responder can translate the original question and their answer then that would always be useful (as happened in this case), but to split the forums would just make them less useful (if you can speak multiple languages would you then need to browse/search each forum on the hope of finding an answer). There are plenty of people without English for a first language who may be able to understand a fair amount of the posts but asking questions in english would be a step too far.

Well, my first language is Spanish and my second one, is English like most of the people here.
It’s really difficult sometimes to explain a problem in a language you might not have a lot of vocabulary.
I do think that asking the questions here in English will reach a higher audience but I don’t have a problem with that. If the person who asks knows that it is reaching a lower audience, then just ignore the question like you don’t know the answer.

El ultimo caso de los correos que se colocaban como No Leídos al responder logré resolver quitando la propiedad de la base de datos que indicaste.

You can post in your own language, please don’t be put off by people thinking everyone in the world should speak English:)
In terms of recovery of a database, do you have backups? If it’s a database stored on the server you should do regular backups - if you don’t then you probably won’t be able to recover it, unless there are other replicas stored elsewhere.
Also, make sure only those people that need to be are set as Manager of databases in the ACL, only a Manager can delete a database
If it was a local database, then I guess OnTrack recovery would find it if it was recoverable.

Te comento, se puede saber quien borro una base y es bastante facil. Lo importante es que aun tengas una copia del log.nsf. Hace una cosa, anda al administrador, luego a la parte de Analysis y ahi, busca en miscellaneous events. Busca el nombre de la base como el nombre de filesystem (Ejemplo names.nsf) y deberia aparecerte “The database X was deleted by Y”. Es normal que pase y me ha pasado un par de veces y por eso no es conveniente que alguien tenga acceso de manager a menos que sea un administrador.

You should be able to search in the log.nsf for the name of the database and then you will find something like “database X was deleted by Y”. I wouldn’t recommend giving manager access to a non-administrator user.

Tengo un usuario con Lotus Notes 6.5.4 que tiene el sgte problema:
Al responder correos recibidos que ya estan leídos a otra persona el mensaje se vuelve a colocar como No Leído.
Esto sucedo con cualquier correo de su inbox.

Que extraño. Usualmente hay bastantes problemas con las marcas de no leidos y mas en las versiones 6.5.x.
Si es posible, yo trataria de actualizarle el cliente. A 6.5.6 o a otro cliente.
Igualmente, esto sucede automaticamente al responder el correo? Solo pasa con los que responde? (Los demas se quedan como leidos). Pasa un tiempo hasta que le aparecen como no leidos?
Puede estar accediendo a la base del server, usando una replica local y probablemente la replica local tenga la propiedad de no mantener las marcas de leidos (Por performance). Aunque seria algo raro.

I do not expect the whole world to speak English, but I want to stress that when you want to communicate you should do it in such a way that both the sender and the receiver understand what the message is.
You will never see me react on a person who has trouble with English and writes very hard to read texts. I find it of great courage when, for instance, a person from China tries to enter a post in a language he is not familiar with (I am terrified by the idea that I would have to read or write in Chinese).
Again, when their is a need for a forum in a dedicated language, fine. But do not mix these posts in the same forum.
