We are running Notes 6.5.4 on windows 2003 sp1. After server is started, com1 port is working fine for 5-6 hrs approx. afterthat, it is not able to dialin or dialout. Modem (US Robotics ext 56k) shows 4 lights on all the time when there is a problem.
We have tried stop port com1 and start port com1, also reset the modem power.but no help. if we restart the server it works sometimes and again the same problem.
If we stop port com1 and try modem dialing from OS, it gives message that modem is being used by other application.(Please note that we are able to stop or start com1 successfully from notes console. We are getting message that it is done successfully)
Is there any known problem with communication port with the combination of windows 2003 sp1 and 6.5.4
