COM/API Call to LN8

Hi,I have MS Vista Machine with Notes 8.0.1.

We have a different program, that is supposed to call the Notes Client.

When I install a ‘dedicated client’ on the PC of the other program, when using function to call notes, the following error is experienced:

“Unable to create Notes session [SCODE:80080005]”

So I wonder if, somehow the notes COM/API/etc classes are changed for LN 8 ?

Or what could the problem be. Strange because it works with a ‘web’ client of the other software…
